How to get gold in Diplomacy is Not an Option?

I just want to know how to get gold coins in Diplomacy is Not an Option? I looked arround in the game but it seems that there is no gold mine or something like this. The game itself is awesome. I've started to play it a few hours ago. It seems like gold is very important for the high tech updated.

I had the same question a few days ago and I was able to get solution. In DiNaO you can get gold in this two ways:

Gold by trading:

You need to update your castle to level 2
Build a market
Trade goods for gold
Tipp: Best trading option is iron the trade rate is 10/1.

Collecting gold:

There are also carts with gold located on the outer border of the map.
